Pilar Gigante was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology in 1990, and received her Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University School of Law in 1995. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 1995 and worked for the New York Police Department until 1996, when she returned to Georgia to be a prosecutor with the DeKalb County Solicitor General’s Office and later on with the District Attorney’s Office. She moved to the area of residential real estate law in 2002, and joined Hudnall Cohn in 2007. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, NAHREP (the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals), and GRECAA (the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association).
